Pope Leo XIV’s first encyclical is apparently nearing completion and could be published after Easter. The document – reportedly titled Magnifica Humanitas ('Magnificent Humanity') - will address the ethical risks of artificial intelligence, particularly its impact on jobs and interpersonal relationships.

The Vatican Governorate is waiting to receive instructions from the Pope’s secretariat regarding the relocation of Leo XIV. After nine months of renovation, Il Messaggero reports on 14 March that the apartment on the third loggia in the Apostolic Palace is finally ready. The move is expected to take place before Easter, possibly within the next few days. Leo XIV will live there with two secretaries: Marco Billeri, an Italian, and Ivan Rimacuya, a Peruvian priest who has followed him everywhere since his days as a cardinal. The palace dates back to the Renaissance, but there was mould and water infiltration in several places. The plumbing and electrical systems needed to be replaced, and many other modifications were suggested. There will also be a gym corner with Technogym equipment. Instead of using the Apostolic Palace, Pope Francis occupied the entire second floor of the Hotel Santa Marta, including the infirmary, security room, offices for secretaries and waiting rooms for guests.…Më shumë

Blessed Teresa Mary Manetti of the Cross She was born at Carnpi Bisenzio, Florence, where in 1874 she founded the Congregation of Carmelite Sisters of St Teresa whom she also sent to Lebanon and the Holy Land. She lived joyfully, body and soul, the mystery of the Cross in full conformity to the will of God and she was outstanding for her love for the Eucharist and her maternal care for children and for the poor. She died at Campi Bisenzio on 23 April 1910.

The Apostolic Nuncio to Lebanon, Archbishop Paolo Borgia, visited several Christian villages in the southern Lebanese districts of Marjayoun and Hasbaya, near the border with Israel, on March 13. In Qlaya, he was received by local authorities, religious representatives, and Caritas coordinator Fr. Samir Ghawy. Humanitarian aid was also distributed to families in the area.
