Italian Bishops Commit to Interfaith State Religion. Worse than Germany: On 25 June, the Italian Bishops' Conference signed an interfaith agreement titled "The Italian Way of Dialogue: Religions in the Public Sphere and for Social Cohesion" together with representatives of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Baháʼí and other religious communities. After the signing, the signatories met President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace to present him with a copy of the pact. He welcomed the initiative as a contribution to dialogue and social cohesion.
Cardinal Burke Sees "No State of Emergency": Ordaining bishops without a papal mandate will have to be punished, Cardinal Raymond Burke told PerMariam.com. He hopes Leo XIV will appoint cardinals to continue talks with the FSSPX, saying reconciliation remains possible. Cardinal Burke, a canon lawyer, rejected rumours that all FSSPX members could be declared excommunicated: "I don’t think that can be sustained". Furthermore, he dismissed the FSSPX's claim of a "state of emergency" to justify episcopal consecrations. While acknowledging serious difficulties in the Church, he insisted that Catholics must remain faithful within the Church: "No situation justifies doing something that is intrinsically evil."
VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — Cardinal Raymond Burke has given his assessment of the recent Extraordinary Consistory along with the upcoming episcopal consecrations of the Society of Saint Pius X, noting some remaining concerns about the consistory format, while lamenting the planed consecrations. Speaking with Per Mariam following the recent consistory, Cdl. Burke offered a summary of the event which drew just under 180 cardinals to Rome for the second such meeting of Leo XIV’s pontificate. As many have similarly done, Burke welcomed the return of consistory’s to the Vatican’s regular life, since it offers a chance to “discuss important questions with regard to the Church.” But he also raised his concerns about the small table “synodal” group method which has largely replaced the traditional open discussion. As for synodality itself, on which the cardinals were briefed during Saturday’s meeting, the American prelate said that it “remains unresolved.” “There really needs to be a …
Tue Jun 30, 2026 - 5:16 am EDT VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo has made a public appeal to the head of the traditionalist Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) not to carry out the episcopal consecrations planned for tomorrow, July 1. This morning, June 30, Pope Leo released a letter to Father Davide Pagliarani, the current head of the SSPX, his bishops, priests and seminarians, as well as the lay faithful “connected” to the Society, warning that the consecrations would be a “schismatic act.” [Full letter printed below.] “I plead with you and ask you with all my heart: please turn back!” the Pontiff wrote. “I urge you to consider carefully the spiritual good of the faithful, because the schismatic act you are about to undertake would deprive them of the licit and, in some cases, even valid reception of the Sacraments, which they love and seek for their sanctification.” LETTER OF POPE LEO XIV TO THE REVEREND DAVIDE PAGLIARANI SUPERIOR GENERAL OF THE PRIESTLY FRATERNITY OF SAINT PIUS X …
The State of Affairs at L'Osservatore Romano: During today's Angelus, Pope Leo XIV greeted homeless people present in St Peter's Square who were distributing L'Osservatore di strada, a supplement of L'Osservatore Romano. According to Silere non possum, Andrea Monda, editor-in-chief of L'Osservatore Romano, requested that a greeting to the distributors be included in the Pope's prepared text. Monda attended the Angelus in St Peter's Square. SilereNonPossum.com adds that Monda does not usually go to the office even on days when he is expected to be there, that public interest in L'Osservatore di strada is "non-existent," and that Monda is personally responsible for the costly project out of an "obsession."
Angelus: Pope Leo Reads, Andrea Monda Gets the … Among the greetings drafted by the Prefecture of the Papal Household for the Pope was one addressed to the homeless people present in St Peter’s Square to distribute L’Osservatore di strada, a supplement to L’Osservatore Romano. Naturally, the request came from Andrea Monda himself. A man who does not usually go to the office even on the days when he is expected to be there was hardly likely to spend a Sunday in St Peter’s Square beneath the scorching Roman sun of recent days. But having secured confirmation from the Prefecture that the short passage had been inserted into the text prepared for the Pope, Monda could not miss the occasion. He had to be there, he had to be seen, he had to make his presence visible at the very moment Leo XIV spoke about the costly paper. And so there he was in St Peter’s Square, beside a banner that had cost hundreds of euros, waving his arms about in his embarrassing braces to greet the Pope, who, puzzled …Mususu

Today, Leo XIV issued the Motu Proprio Confirma Fratres Tuos, which replaces the apostolic constitution In Ecclesiarum Communione, promulgated by Pope Francis in January 2023, which governed the vicariate of Rome. According to the new constitution: • The Cardinal Vicar regains primary executive authority over the Vicariate and assumes greater responsibility for its day-to-day governance while remaining accountable to the Pope. • The Episcopal Council is no longer a decision-making body, but rather a consultative one. The Cardinal Vicar will chair it rather than the Pope. • A new office, the Moderator Curiae, is established. The Moderator Curiae is appointed for a five-year term to coordinate the Vicariate's offices, oversee personnel, and manage administrative operations. • The Vicegerent continues in a supporting role while transferring many administrative coordination responsibilities to the Moderator Curiae. #newsEtjyapertd

CATHOLICS - the movie. ..In the near future, the Catholic Church has joined with other western religions in an ecumenical movement that has washed out much of the original message of the true religion. CPAC is not a Catholic organization. CPAC's website, by the look of it, should be considered a "white" freemasonic type of organization that is controlling the "Conservative/Christian" movement to do the Synagogue of Satan's bidding. Fr. Fahey would not have approved of this group which really is an Israeli vetting organization for American conservatives!
Encouraging the Clergy. www.priestsforlife.org Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, continues his reflections on encouraging the clergy to address abortion issue. He points out that though sometimes people may label the pro-life position as "right wing" or 'traditionalist", the clergy is not ordained to belong to a particular faction of the church. He clarifies that respect for human life is not something anyone in the church is exempt from having or has a monoply on. For more on this, please www.priestsforlife.org
