Ob razpravi o konferenci ob 10. obletnici dokumenta v Rimu je Lisicki trdil, da njegov pristop k posameznikovi vesti praktično ne pušča nobenih moralnih meja. »Cerkev sledi svetu,« je opozoril Lisicki in sarkastično vprašal: »Če se svet približuje sprejemanju ideje, da je družina v bistvu človeška čreda, zakaj ne bi Cerkev sledila?« Lisicki je opozoril, da se poligamija trenutno ne uvaja v Cerkev, vendar je opozoril, da se lahko radikalni predlogi začnejo kot osamljeni glasovi, postopoma postanejo sprejeta mnenja in se na koncu vsilijo drugim.

Kardinal George Jacob Koovakad, prefekt Dikasterija za medverski dialog, je 19. oktobra obiskal hindujski tempelj BAPS v Londonu, kjer so ga hindujski verski voditelji slovesno sprejeli. Prejel je cvetni venec in si ogledal »svete« prostore templja. Kardinal Koovakad je sodeloval tudi pri tradicionalnem indijskem obredu prižiganja svetilk, ki se običajno imenuje Deep Prajwalan.
