No Press Conference: Leaving Castel Gandolfo after his usual Tuesday visit, Leo XIV brushed off reporters' questions with a brief response: "Not today."
He has actually finally figured this out! Pope Leo XIV left Castel Gandolfo this evening, where he traditionally spent Tuesday. When journalists tried to ask him questions he replied “not today”
Iran is consistently inconsistent, contradicting the US at every turn: Negotiations are likely to be a long, difficult slog, and maximum patience is called for.
After the election of Leo XIV, Aldo Maria Valli wanted to believe in the new pope and in the possibility of a change of direction, he admitted on his blog on June 25. Valli was the longtime Vatican correspondent for Italy’s public broadcaster, RAI. But: “The cold shower (or rather, a whole series of cold showers) quickly woke me from that dream in the form of statements fully in line with the Bergoglian disaster and a succession of ‘peace & love’ initiatives, marked by a shallow humanitarianism completely devoid of references to transcendence, sin, conversion, and the salvation of the soul.” On the consistory on Friday and Saturday, he writes: “Under Leo XIV, the Church is not merely avoiding any reversal of course; it is enthusiastically reaffirming the synodal model, transforming it into a permanent method of ecclesial governance.” Valli points to the names of the cardinals (Ryś, Fernández, Brislin, and Grech) chosen to lead the principal sessions. It is, he says, a gathering of …Zvimwe
And the poisonous menu Prevost serves up in his rebellion against God—the worship of false gods and the paganism that violates the First Commandment, as well as disobedience and defiance of God’s NATURAL law and the rejection of the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit through the profanation of the body—by means of sodomy, adultery, and every kind of immorality and sexual perversion.
"...And you feel like crying: for your friend, for the papacy, and for the Church." What a terrible misfortune... and we all have conservative friends...

At least 20 Christians were killed in an overnight attack on the village of Kawel in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, central Nigeria, police said Monday. Among the victims were a doctor and five patients. Police said heavily armed attackers opened fire on residents before setting homes ablaze. Security forces responded and exchanged gunfire with the assailants, who fled the area. No arrests have been made. Local officials and witnesses identified the attackers as armed Fulani Muslim herders. The latest attack is part of a series of deadly assaults that have plagued Plateau State in recent years. Several Christian advocacy organizations have argued that the repeated violence in Nigeria's Middle Belt disproportionately affects Christian communities and have called on the Nigerian government to provide greater protection. #newsHrlsergljk

Catholic writers, leaders and prominent figures share their reading lists for the warmest months of 2026. It seems like only yesterday that we published our Lenten reading recommendations, but here we are unrolling our 2026 summer reading list, which is altogether a very different animal than the books we recommended for the Season of Penance. Summer books shouldn’t necessarily be unchallenging. In fact, it’s a perfect time for books that require the uninterrupted lounging-around time that summer affords, whether at the beach or pool, or in a hammock in the back yard. It’s the perfect time to get truly lost in a book — so lost that upon putting it down you feel a bit dazed, the way you might feel stumbling out of a movie theater into the blazing sun. Those potentially-out-of-body-experience reads ought to be chosen carefully. To that end, we’ve asked a few Catholic writers, leaders and prominent figures what they are reading this summer. Here’s what they told us: Alberto Fernandez,…
The proximity of the consistory (Friday and Saturday) to the FSSPX consecrations (Wednesday) has allegedly prompted Leo XIV to remove the liturgy from the consistory's agenda. This information was published by Nico Spuntoni on IlGiornale.it, who cited an anonymous cardinal as his source. Although "synodality" was already discussed in January, it has returned to the agenda. Spuntoni adds three more pieces of information. - Notable absences at the consistory due to ill health include conservative Cardinals Joseph Zen (Hong Kong), Péter Erdő (Budapest), and Willem Eijk (Utrecht). - There is unease among the professed members and religious sisters of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X, who do not wish to risk incurring a possible excommunication. - The consistory's agenda has not generally generated enthusiasm among cardinals. Some also dislike the Synod Secretariat's method of working in small groups. #newsSdvnwboncj

“Haggai” – Prophets, Video 26 Holy Family American Catholic Church Four prophecies in four months! In this video, the Rev. Dr. Jayme Mathias, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church in Austin, Texas, tells us about the prophecies of the minor prophet Haggai!
Today, Leo XIV appointed the rector of the seminary, Rev. Johannes Zehe, 62, as the new auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Hamburg, Germany. Monsignor Zehe initially studied music in Berlin and worked as a violin teacher and orchestral musician before being ordained a priest in Hamburg in 1999. Career Within Hamburg’s Establishment He owes his career to Hamburg’s Archbishop Stefan Heße who appointed him rector of the seminary in 2023 and has now evidently put him forward for appointment as auxiliary bishop. However, Archbishop Heße of Hamburg is strongly pro-homosexual. Since June 2025, the archdiocese has been embroiled in a major controversy. Under the title “Male, Female, Diverse: Framework Concept for Sexual Education in the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Hamburg,” a 33-page document breaks with core Catholic teachings on sexuality and relationships. Monsignor Zehe himself is not regarded as an internal opponent of the current direction. However, his own online …Zvimwe
"a nők érvénytelen pappá szenteléséről kérdezték, homályosan válaszolt, hogy ezt nem igazán tudja elképzelni. Min vitatkozunk és elmélkedünk? ----- "When asked about the invalid ordination of women, he responded vaguely that he could not really imagine it. However, he added: “If theology develops further, and if deeper explanations emerge that can be accepted worldwide, I would not lose my faith over it. I am not a great advocate of women priests. But if it were to happen - why not?’" Dogma: “3. The recipient of the sacrament of Holy Orders. Article. Only a baptized man may validly receive the sacrament of Holy Orders.” What are we debating and reflecting on?
25. June 2026 25. June 2026 06/25/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. … the Time Magazine ran a 2025 cover story asking where all the cancer in young people was coming from. The answer, McCullough says, is visible in the data: after two decades of gradually rising cancer rates, 2021 marked a sharp inflection upward — the same year mass COVID vaccination rolled out. Excerpt from an article published on Wednesday on thefocalpoints.com: Post-Jab Cancer Wave. A study conducted by Japanese scientists has once again shown that mRNA “vaccines” against COVID-19 accelerate the spread of tumors and make their progression more aggressive, thereby drastically shortening patients’ life expectancy. The study confirms that mRNA vaccines cause “turbo cancer”—a phenomenon that has long been dismissed as a “conspiracy theory” or “misinformation” by health authorities, the mainstream media, and dubious “fact-checkers.” I just received a new article by Sascha Łatypowa: The Silent War of Eugenics. …
Today, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X has published the coats of arms and episcopal mottos of the four bishops to be ordained on Wednesday. Fr Pascal Schreiber's Family Lions Fr Pascal Schreiber has chosen the motto Virgo Fidelis ("Virgin Most Faithful"), one of the invocations from the Litany of Loreto. Episcopal mottos are usually drawn from the Bible or express the bishop's personal mission. His coat of arms contains personal references. The two lions are taken from his family's coat of arms. Each holds a golden quill, a canting reference to the surname Schreiber ("scribe"). The colours black, red, and gold are a nod to his German homeland. Fr Michael Goldade's Twelve Ears of Wheat Fr Michael Goldade's motto, Adeamus cum fiducia ("Let us go with confidence"), comes from Hebrews 4:16. The defining feature of his coat of arms is the twelve ears of wheat. Besides symbolizing the Eucharist, they recall North Dakota and Kansas, his places of origin and upbringing, also his …Zvimwe

Venezuela, on the same day of celebrating a false saint, a thing which the church allowed and perhaps encourage (religious differentism), suffered a gigantic earthquake. Thousands are missing and feared dead, THEY... KNEELED, PRAY AND SACRIFICED TO GOD FOR REGIME CHANGE, and months later worship a false saint brought from África. EARTHQUAKES IN VENEZUELA, JAPAN, PHILIPPINES AND SOME OTHER PARTS OF INDONESIA (volcano eruptions), yet people still think we aren't at the beginning of the end times. Open your eyes and embrace God’s Mercy in His only beloved Son Jesus, the ONLY way to Almighty Father. My heart breaks for Venezuela, but their idol worshiping has been epic for many years.
