It's crazy and funny how some people love Bishop Williamson. A common sense reading (which is clearly what was intended) would be "Don't act impulsively." The SSPX has never given even the slightest hint that they have ever been looking for a "compromise."
"Kicking the can down the road" has been the problem from the beginning with all disciplinary issues in the Church, including the 1962 Missal sectarian problem. Essentially, the SSPX wants the Vatican to take a modernist "inclusive, all are welcome" approach. Hopefully the Holy Father demands repentance and full reconciliation for years of schism.
